With a slow
step,
I walk along
the Tiber,
to enjoy the
charm
of
age-old poplars and rushes
of the old and grumpy
BLOND RIVER
With silence
. to keep me
company,
even the
chatter
. . of noisy seagulls
whirling on lacy waves
in search of tasty prey.
In reverse
the
melodious song of clear waters
driven
by a capricious wind
seems
to want to pay homage
to prestige
. of the beloved river
Suddenly
I found myself
right in
front
. to the
Majestic Monument,
where,red
pages
of
painful facts and news,
they had
noted
of
disturbing conflicts:
. " Sant'Angelo
castel".
. Funerary monument
. by Emperor Hadrian
became, over time,
outpost
to defend the papacy,
until
it was intended
to be called:
HORROR PRISON.
