Politics of Right and Left
The Right is stifled by the pace of
change
Strapped to yesterday's belief
systems
The Right knows no other way
But to point to the past
"the glorious past," they say
With religion being the central
point
Traditions of race, tribes and
geographical dislocation are held close to the heart
Nationalism is more palatable than
globalization
The global village is a ploy to
breed wickedness
The mainstream media cannot be
trusted
Because they are peddling the bitter
truth
Technology is an enemy of humanity
The robots are going to take our
jobs
Equality is irrational, it cannot be
attained
Poverty is a form of laziness
Human rights are just tools not
stools to sit on
Women will never be equal to men
The Left is intoxicated by the newly
found freedoms
Excited to get on the express train
of change
Enchanted by the ever growing
platform of progress
They are reckless in their
appearance and demands
They want the world to stray away
into the abyss of the unknown
They are not for religious doctrines
and traditional demagoguery
They have a list of crazy demands
From equal rights, LGBT rights,
climate change to equality
They are destroying racial and
tribal lines
They are erasing geographical
boundaries
They are building a global village
In their haste to bring change, they
forgot to switch off their wild desires
Now, they cannot resist their
temptations
Drugs, alcohol and sex are liberal
tools
The have neglected the teaching of
the old religions
The ten commandments are not central
to their modus operandi
Climate change and equality are
their mantras
The politics of Right and Left are
dividing humanity
They have replaced religious
doctrine and political ideologies
I think the answer is found not on
the political Right or Left
The answer lies inside our
consciousness
Spiritual awakening and
enlightenment is our true path
First, we have to know our true
selves
Then we will know our place inside
humanity, the world and universe
The Truth will set us free
