Life is not an emotional outburst
In its well defined path
Life does not care about
emotional outbursts
It is wired to walk through
many turbulent times
To resist the urge to impose
its ideologies
To avoid imprinting itself on
every occasion
Life will not survive a
moment if it was a tumultuous storm
It will cease to exist in its
infancy
Take for a example, death
Life does not care much about
death
It continues on its path
without a pause
It does not give death any
sort of power
Life is not a mortuary to
engage in the ceremony of death
There are no rituals in place
to honor the dead
Life is like a gigantic
elegant worm
It is smooth and looks
fragile
But it has the ability to
withstand powerful earthquakes
Now, what is the lesson in
all these?
It is me, you and us
Divided by our emotional
makeup
We see each other as
opponents, competitors and potential enemies
We refuse to swallow a chill
pill, be still and be each other's keeper
In order to diffuse our
emotional time bombs
We need to understand each other,
to know that the cord that connects us is unbreakable
Time and again, humanity has
been affected by these emotional outbursts
Not learning from history,
man has a tendency to listen to his ill-informed emotions
And climb the ladder of
uncertainty, fear and hopelessness
Until all his bottled
emotions cannot be contained
Then, without notice
everything is exploded
The spilling of hopelessness
on the streets of humanity
The destruction of reason and
common sense
The ill advised slap on the
face, conflict, war and atrocities
This is the evolution of
conflicts
The inability to contain our
emotions plus the fear to lose control emanating from our ego
Equals humanity's Achilles
tendon
Let's learn to let go of our
heavy loads of emotions
Without causing upheavals and
utter destruction of each other
