on the quay
of Piazza del Mercato
It's already evening
when on the quay
in front of the tower
of Market Square,
in STABIA,
by the moon, illuminated,
Fishermen
they wait silently
that the order to sail,
finally be
given
by
the master of the vessel:
Zi CATIELL
In
front of people watch curiously
the hectic work
of consummate actors,
busy everyone
in the assigned role.
In the end
the time has come to leave,
as it mounts in the heart
a Hope and a Prayer:
Bring us back Lord,
safe, from our loved ones,
with a harvested catch
in abundance , thankful.
In the morning,
when even the moon
does not
resist to the returning sun,
while the quay
begins to take color
of
curious and noisy fishermen.
Accompanied you
by colorful screams
it downloads quickly,
the catch of the night.
Thanksgiving
it goes directly
to Heaven
for the promise kept
and by grace received.
