Your Presence
Your presence
Will not arrive through reason.
It requires some dying, some stillness.
The learned gets intoxicated
In systems and relationships.
The humble feels the mystery,
Manifesting radiance at the center.
The intellect is a covering,
Staring at surfaces everywhere.
The meat and seed of the nut is eaten.
The shell is used for adornment.
Mind wears a necklace of reason
Unmindful of the universal source.
Intellect fills volumes of pages with
names.
Your presence embraces everything.
Reason resides in space and time.
Your presence is the bridge from here
To infinity and eternity, from body to
soul,
From reason to unknowing.
