The world of poetry
It is not a far away place
It is not somewhere outside the
radius of our normal lives
The world of poetry is found in our
midst
Entangled to our senses, not
obstructing our view or opinions
Just hanging loose inside the
substance of our being
It is a web of sensations, a
pulsating node inside our consciousness
The world of poetry feels like it is
outside our heads
Just swinging inside our hearts
Like a smooth breeze that whispers
to us
It is a vessel for our sanity to be
set free
And our insanity to be known
It is a source of the most beautiful
feelings
A peduncle holding the organ of
ecstasy
Only dreamers, lovers and mystics
are allowed to touch this beautiful vase
It is not uncommon to find drifters
entangled in this web of mystery
The world of poetry is full of charm
It entices the lips of Silence to
come closer
It embraces all, men and women,
regardless of their station in life
It is a refinery of some sort, a
distillation process for our spirit
It is an opening, a door into the
forest of mystery
The world of poetry is a vehicle for
our spirit to be showcased
