EVEN THE DREAMS
THEY RUN AWAY
However, oblivion preserves them
but they are mine alone
when I feel like a prisoner.
Yes, it's them
the sweet memories of the past
filled with youthful games and loves,
but also of a colorful childhood.
Where did it go,
I wonder sometimes,
THAT WORLD
magical and enchanted
who dressed us in dreams
for us to see
a Better Future?
Today, alas, too quickly
we wish to have it all,
without enduring hardship
and so, no longer being able
give light and love,
even those dreams
they went away,
finding no space
in a world,
cruel and selfish,
now set adrift
