clinging to hope
Everything
of amazement lights up
to my rapt gaze,
you find it then
in the whole world.
But
the Beauty of Creation,
I
know well, that to me
It does not belong,
but it will stay down here
for all of those
which will come later
As is very clear
almost everyone
has built in this world
his house.
ONLY the DEVIL
to our misfortune
has no fixed abode,
but everywhere
it can be
found.
So, I have to worry
when in life
i'm about to drown,
in a stormy sea.
Therefore
as long as this world
I will be part,
I'll have to stay
with FAITH
as castway, clinging
to HOPE
