How
infinite it is mercy
whose
he always has, men,
cautioned
to walk the right path,
it is known by all.
But it's extraordinary
discover
in Greek mythology
the great prominence
to behaviors
of
pious and enlightened men.
They
were two poor peasants
that with serenity
they had grown old together.
One day mighty Zeus,
in false guise
of beggar,
he asked the locals
to be hosted.
While everyone
they
refused with indignation,
just them
in the miserable hut,
they invited him to enter.
Zeus was moved
so much
to save them from certain death,
destroying that place
totally .
To reward their good heart
he asked to make a wish.
The old man, without hesitating,
asked to die
together with his wife,
having lived with her,
peaceful years.
And so they were changed
in two trees
for the united trunk:
a LINDEN and a OAK TREES
