in the whole world
You do not hear rolling in the sky
sinister shadows of hellish wars,
that with gloomy noise
they carry with them
death and terror?
Everything around
covered in fog,
as it reverberates far away
the taste,
of lightning and thunder.
TO
YOU,
POWERFUL OF THE WORLD,
that you started tragic wars,
I appeal:
From everywhere you come
realize that you bring with you
.only moans
of old men, women and children
that, with anguished emotion
and infernal terror,
they ask again with cold pallor:
But what is our fault
that we have to pay with our lives
while the world elsewhere turns ?
