There is the rain
Of bright sunshine
In the early morning
On the earth very fine

It has bathed the earth
With much rain of rays
And has cleaned the dark
From the ever musing page (2)
It is bright and all beyond
On the earth to find
Never can match the world
Where all truth is blind (3)
Bright is the day as bathed queen
Dirt from the body is gone
Though the nature is fine
As its thought is ever run (4)
