What you say & demand
I do promise often and often
To serve you throughout your
life
But the time, yes the time
Has something else in store
For you and for me for ever
And the moon rises in the sky
Oh ! all the charm in love is
yours
I want something from that
I hope you will never deny it
to me
I may ever fly in the sky up
above
Keep it up dear for ever and
ever
Thinking of the watering
mouth
And smelling all the earthly
joys
Of love and life on the earth
