Embarrassing Question
When the famine
it's hot now
try to pose
an embarrassing question
to anyone who comes across:
Which of you
of his he will be able to share
in this awful time
and
so much hard
just survive?
..A rich landowner
questioned
alas he sighs sorrowfully:
That would not be enough
the entire estate
to feed one man
without having to suffer.
Then another comes forward
to say very anguished:
Now
I have a lot of taxes to pay
and I don't know if I can
indeed, I'm sure of it.
But
when from the answers received
you are now resigned
rises from afar
of a beggar,
the tired and a little exhausted voice
but very convinced.
The little I own
I want to share happy
with Whoever asks me,
with horrendous desperation.
