Tender Perfume,
of Mountains and Sea
I would stop and talk
with the Wind
and then to play
with the clouds,
but even to sing
. with the
birds,
despite
having from them
some of the perfume
of my
mountains and my sea:
STABIAE
From
the bottom of a fiery lair
a mischievous Cricket
makes
his annoying voice heard
but that the
Heart distracts
from a joyful melancholy.
But the greatest Nostalgia
it is for the light green Sea,
for a blue sky
and a hot sun.
Great Poets and Dreamers
they have already sung
with superb craftsmanship,
what the heart feels
whose far away is
from his beloved land.
