was needed instead of opposition, with a common destiny as a force. He dreamed of liberating all the peoples of
South America, on the basis of:
Continental Solidarity,
Legal equality between nations,
Common
Democratic and Republican Regime,
Total Absence of Antagonism.
He also used to say that an
Ignorant Folk
is a blind instrument of its
own destruction.
He was the first President of
Greater Colombia and the second and third President
of Venezuela.
He
was awarded the honorary title of:
LIBERTADOR
due to his decisive
contribution to the independence of Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and
Venezuela.
He was a convinced
Anti-Slaveer, abolishing it in all territories under his control.

What a bitter experience
He had done
traveling
from one country to another
and having witnessed
to a hard life for people ?
Every man was considered
Private Property
that you could buy
down to the market,
to then exploit it, in hard work,
only as a donkey.
He was influenced by those Ideas
of
Liberal Enlightenment
than like a river in flood
it was running rampant
throughout Europe.
While Napoleon
attacked
almost all the rulers,
of Old Europe
the adventure began
to free
the Latin American people
from vexations
of merciless domination colonial.
He had started and finished
this tiring adventure,
speaking first, with a trembling Voice,
then
gradually, more and more powerful:
YOU ARE HUMAN BEINGS
and to yourself,
and to the Earth that gave birth to you,
you belong.
As FREE
PATRIOTS,
you have a duty,
the nation only
to serve with love
and for It, sometimes,
even die.
