The ability to see yourself
Life is a big test
Do not be fooled by its
radiant beauty
It is you who is the center
of this masterpiece
Now, it is easy to be
absorbed to the sticky situations of life or be lost in the excitement
And forget that you are the
unfolding of life
Without you, the sticky
situations or excitement will be meaningless
There are so many lessons in
this life
But the biggest of them all
is hidden in plain sight
It is the ability to see
yourself
Can you see yourself?
Not just the time when you
look in the mirror
But in every moment and in
every situation
What exactly is happening?
Life takes you away from
yourself
You are ripped away from your
true self
By the many attachments,
entanglements and engagements
You don't know it but you
become lost in the wilderness of life
You become the things that
you see, learn and experience
You become absent in all
senses from your true self
You identify more with your
achievements, possessions and identities
You even think you cannot
live a day without some of your possessions or achievements
You're very deeply attached
to them
And you are unable to see
yourself
This is the biggest cause of
despair in life
It is the source of
loneliness and wickedness
It is the greatest mistake of
life
And it is very common
The ability to see your true
self is not only liberating
The self is the essence of
life
It is the substance of the
truth
You will never know your true
self if you are afraid of the truth
The truth is that you don't
have anything or anyone
You're the bare fabric of
existence
Everything else is an
experience
